  Ha megnézed nincs egy tucat példa eukariótákra, szóval én továbbra sem tartanék attól, hogy csak úgy létrejönnek ezek a növények és állatok horizontális géntranszferrel, mert erre zéró az esély akkor is ha megvárjuk mire a nap kiég. [link]

  Ja olvasom ezt a hülyeséget, ami az MTA álláspontja. Nekem tökmindegy minek definiálják, a génszerkesztéssel létrehozott fajok ugyanúgy GMO-k maradnak, ha keresztezéssel nem tudták volna létrehozni őket.

  Szerintem inkább maradjunk a wikipedia-nál, az talán nincs annyira átpolitizálva, mint az MTA:

  Genetic engineering techniques

Early targeting systems relied on meganucleases and zinc finger nucleases. Since 2009 more accurate and easier systems to implement have been developed. Transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs) and the Cas9-guideRNA system (adapted from CRISPR) are the two most commonly used. They may potentially be useful in gene therapy and other procedures that require accurate or high throughput targeting.
