    Kellő magabiztosságra vall, hogy tulajdonképpen fogalmad sem volt, mikor írtál, de most se nagyon.
    Nem győzött meg az állításom ellenkezőjéről, Ez a leánykori nevén Project Mainline. Magyarul akkor is biztonságos legyen a készülék, ha a gyártó nem frissít a biztonsági patchcsel.

    Google System updates make your Android devices more secure and reliable and give you new and useful features. They include updates from Google to the Android operating system, Google Play Store, and Google Play services.

    És a egy szaki magyarázata:
    Google Play system updates have been introduced with Android 10, and are meant for devices that for a reason or another are not running on the latest security patch level (so, it's mostly for OEM that doesn't update regularly). They basically contain some parts of the more comprehensive security patches found in the regular monthly security patch levels, for critical infrastructures highly susceptible to security issues such as the Media Framework (remember Stagefright?). This enable Google to send automatically without any OEM intervention security fixes to certain parts of the OS as soon as bugs are discovered (just like on Windows basically) without waiting for the potentially slow response of an OEM. You can see that the system is working actually, since you haven't updated from October, but the phone has managed to retrieve the most important fixes from the Google Play system updates, hence the difference in reported installed versions (October security patch levels vs. Google Play January security patches).
