  We are looking for a
  Senior Oracle Developer
  for Eurocontrol in Brussels

  Tasks:
  • Monitor and maintain pre-testing, testing and integration environments
  • Maintain and develop on Linux ksh scripts, PL/SQL packages, C parsing scripts, Perl parsing scripts, SQL Loader
  • Update technical documentation
  • Answer business requests from both internal and external users
  • SQL tuning and optimization
  • Incidents investigation
  • Impact analysis on changes propagated from the source systems
  • Respect the SLA and act accordingly

  Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in the field of IT
  • ORACLE and data warehouse design and implementation knowledge
  • Data Warehouse Design skills and knowledge of data warehouse design methodologies (minimum 2 years’ experience)
  • minimum 5 years’ experience as ORACLE developer or DBA with appropriate development skills,
  • ORACLE performance tuning
  • Knowledge of ORACLE 10g features, e.g. partitioning, partition swapping, materialized views, ORACLE loader
  • advanced PL/SQL programming
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Unix or Linux
  • Any C, Java or Perl and ITIL, BO knowledge would be an asset
