Idézet a dd fórumból:
I've flash back the original firmware sucessfully.

    What I did was:

    1) I've dl the original fw from TP-Link.

    2) Cut-off the first 0x20200 bytes so that the resulting file starts with the hex sequence:
    01 00 00 00 54 50 2D

    3) I copied the new firmware into a usb pen drive (FAT).

    4) Enabled usb in the DD-WRT firmware, with auto-mount.

    5) Plugged the usb pen drive into the router and logged in by telnet.

    6) Changed to /tmp directory (I'm not sure if this is really necessary).

    7. Gave the following command.

    mtd -e linux -r write /mnt/<firmwarefilename.bin> linux

where <firmwarefilename.bin> is the filename of the original firware stripped of the 0x20200 first bytes. In my case, I named it 0x20200.bin /mnt is the mount point. My firmware was located on the root directory.

This is what you're going to get:

    root@WR1043ND:/tmp# mtd -e linux -r write /mnt/0x20200.bin linux
    Unlocking linux ...
    Erasing linux ...
    Writing from /mnt/0x20200.bin to linux ... [w]

    Connection to host lost.

    Press any key to continue...

    Amire még oda kell figyelni:
Reset DD-WRT to factory default before you flash TP-LINK FW with mtd command.

Make sure you do "cd /tmp" before the mtd command.

Verify that you your cutted file with only "header + firmware" from last TP-LINK firmware has one of these checksums:
    MD5: E712A4A274765A8E63E4B84AA2BCA99E
    SHA1: 8B20344B19160006355F02A6BCC895353F4A4A2E
    CRC32: 13820BE6

When I flashed from tplink to ddwrt FW:
I first flashed "factory-to-ddwrt.bin" from tplink webui.
After that I flashed "tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin" from ddwrt webui.
"tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin" was the FW in my router before I went back to tplink fw.

After I flashed from ddwrt to tplink using mtd, I reflashed the full tplink FW from tplink webui to make sure I flashed tplink uboot.
