    Windows 7 Pro Build 7600 on M1400

    Drives if anyone needs:

Wifi/ethernet :www (dot) motioncomputing (dot) com/drivers/M1400/Broadcom3 (dot) 60 (dot) 7 (dot) zip

Audio : www (dot) motioncomputing (dot) com/drivers/M1400/M1400-SigmaTelAudiov16 (dot) zip

Finger Print Reader: win7beta (dot) authentec (dot) com/w7wbf32 (dot) exe

Intel 855 Video: www (dot) mediafire (dot) com/?mymzgzj1zmu

    Upon installation of windows 7:
    //// Turn off UAC!!!!!! //////
    1. Run Command Prompt as Admin.
    2. Type & Enter : "Bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on"
    3. Type & Enter : "Bcdedit /set loadoptions ddisable_integrity_checks"
    4. Device Manager >> Uninstall Both Video Controller & And Standard VGA.
    5. Go into msconfig and in the "boot" tab Check "Safe Mode".
    6. Restart and go into safe mode.
    7. Device manager >> Right click on vga standard drivers and pick "update driver software..."
    8. Choose to browse for driver, choose the "let me pick..." option, click "have disk..." button, point to "ialmnt5.inf" in "win2000" folder, and install 82852/82855 driver
    9. After installation is complete, click "scan for hardware changes" and let it update itself until it simply stops updating - it'll be a minute or so after a pair of 82852/82855 drivers show up without yellow "!"'s on them.
    10. Go back into MSconfig and uncheck Safe Mode.
    11. Restart and boot normally, windows will configure drivers, and after ~1 minute, you're good to go!

    * For some reason you might need to restart alot of times before your video card decides to accept the driver. Just have patience =)
    * And the way to know your drives are installed is when your cursor looks all fuzzy and messy. To remove that just Right click Desktop >> Screen Resolution >> Advanced Settings >> Troubleshoot >> Change Settings. Now just lower the Hardware Acceleration down one before full and apply settings. now your fine!.

To have screen Rotation working Open up your Regedit and go here:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intel\CUI\DISPLAY1\
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intel\CUI\DISPLAY2\

In both add New dword called "EnableRotation" set Value to 1. Restart and it should be working.

All other drivers should be automatically installed with Updates.

And maybe this helps to your BIOS password problem
