  If you’ve been following the Brexit saga for the past few days, you’d be aware that there was a series of votes cast in the UK parliament this week. While it looks like a No Deal Brexit is unlikely, it is still a possibility - and we want to let you know that whatever the outcome is, we’ve got your back.

  We’re preparing for a no deal

  Right now, all of our customers in Europe are tied to our UK Electronic Money License, which we have passported across the European Economic Area. If a no deal outcome were to happen, we would no longer be able to passport this licence across Europe.

  And while many experts are saying that a no deal outcome is very unlikely, we would rather be proactive to help protect our customers against the risks of Brexit. That is why last year we applied for (and have since been granted) an Electronic Money License in the EU, which we may need to migrate you over to in the near future.

  What you need to do

  In the event that we need to migrate you over to our licensed Electronic Money Institution in the EU, we’ll need you to take another selfie as well as uploading a different form of ID. Unfortunately, this EU-based licence does not recognise a driving licence as a valid form of ID.

  We know this is a pain, but we promise it’ll take you two minutes. Once you update the app to the latest version, just tap the button below on your phone and you’ll automatically be redirected to the app where you can upload your document.
