Your daily tasks on the job
You will be joining our Budapest-based full stack team to develop and maintain the Python/Django backend and React frontend of our educational marketplace. You will have 2-3 calls per week typically at 18:00-19:00 CET with our California-based Hungarian tech CEO. You'll have flexible hours, huge independence and we will build our developer culture together.
- Maintaining existing features
- Designing and developing new features based on tasks descriptions
- Integrating third party applications, like Stripe, Zoom and Google Calendar
- Improving code quality

Work environment
KAPTÁR is a co-working space in the heart of Budapest near Deák tér. It is a sunlit community office with well-equipped meeting venues, unlimited hot drinks consumption (including a light roasted specialty coffee) and lots of wonderful people. Polygence has permanent designated desks, where its engineers are working.
Professional experience
An ideal candidate has a few years of experience with production-grade web application development with the ability and motivation to work on both the backend and frontend part of the application. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also highly prized.
